PICO DA CRUZ - COVA
Circular route from Paul to Pico da Cruz. The tropical landscape transforms into mountainous terrain. Passage through the Cova crater with its cultivated caldera. Descent via traditional trails. Requires good physical condition.

RIBEIRA DA TORRE - XÔXÔ (CIRCULAR)

PICO D'ANTONIO (Long Version)
Mountain route with ascent to Pico de António from Paul. Ascent through mountain farmland and dense vegetation. Descent via traditional trails towards Boca de Figueiral, passing through farmland and along the riverbed.

PONTA DO SOL - FONTAINHAS
The route begins with an ascent; upon reaching the top, you can admire the view of Ponta do Sol. Further along the coastal path, you will see Fontainhas, with its colorful facades, one of the most beautiful mountain villages in Cape Verde.

MIRADOR P. RACHADA - VALE DO PAÚL
Scenic route from the viewpoint to the Paúl Valley, passing by the Cova crater. Long descent with varied landscapes: arid mountains, humid caldera and tropical valley. High difficulty due to the distance and significant elevation gain.

ALTO MIRA - CHA DE MORTE
High mountain trail through the north of the island. Semi-desert volcanic landscape with panoramic views. Moderate altitude variations. No shade or water along the trail. Sunscreen and plenty of water are recommended.

CRUZINHA - PONTA DO SOL
A trail along the Atlantic coast, winding through volcanic formations. Rocky terrain with constant ascents and descents. It is recommended to start early due to the temperatures. It ends at the fishing village of Ponta do Sol.

MIRADOR PEDRA RACHADA - R. TORRE
Spectacular descent from the viewpoint to the valley. Impressive panoramic views of the mountainous interior. Paved path between agricultural terraces and vegetation. Pronounced unevenness requires good footwear.

LIN D'CORVO - BOCA JOÃO AFONSO
The trail crosses an area of forest and arid volcanic landscape. It features moderate variations in altitude. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen. Rocky terrain with constant changes in altitude. It is important to bring sufficient supplies.

NEVE'S WATERFALL (PAÚL)
The path to the "Neve's Waterfall" gets a little more confusing and challenging towards the end, as you have to cross some rocks. But the effort is worth it. The waterfall is truly impressive and forms a small lake where you can relax.

TARRAFAL - MONTE TRIGO
Hike along the south coast of the island. It is best done on cloudy or cool days, as there is no shade along the route. Bring sunscreen, plenty of water, fruit, etc. It is possible to return by boat with local fishermen.
